Frequently Asked Questions

Your music can be submitted via the Cylia AudioID backOffice application.  Registration is first required, however.  You can register here.

There are multiple ways you can include social media channels – both require registration to help keep track of the source of data.

• Subscribers can suggest channels to be monitored.
• Contributors can add/ update channels which are monitored.
• Registered Performers – Artistes, Musicians, Producers – can add/ update social media information within your Cylia AudioID backOffice application (after registration).

 

 

Instructions for Contributors

1. Log in to
2. Get next video within the editor panel
3. Open video in new window
4. Artiste, Producer and Genre information – Collect information –
   1. Create profile for Artiste or Producer, if one does not exist in the drop down menu
   2. If profile exists, but errors/ discrepancies are found then
      1. Add a comment with the new information for Moderator attention
5. Song title – Collect information –
   1. Each artiste on the track must be assigned to the video.
      1. Create profiles for Artiste and/or Producers as suggested above.
      2. Ensure the main artiste is highlighted.
   2. Remove artiste name and any extra text within the title of the song.  Eg. year, genre etc
6. Save video. All data entered will then be associated with the video.

Contributors are allowed to augment data collected by various methods.

 

Cylia AudioID is an independent source of music industry information and data for the Caribbean.

We monitor, collect and disseminate information and data from multiple sources to create a representation of the music industry within the Caribbean.

Simply put – these are a system of archives of the music with the goal to capture all the releases from the Caribbean.

Information is critical to a well functioning industry – especially within the separate, inter-connected islands of the Caribbean.

Industry professionals (Performers, managers, producers etc), national agencies, policy makers and even service providers need to know or estimate the conditions within the music industry to be able to plan and execute.

The output of music is one indicator of the size and health of the music industry which Cylia AudioID  monitors.
